Q. What do I need to get registered with GO Locum?
  • A Current and updated CV
  • A copy of your GMC / IMC certificate
  • Completed CRB form
  • Completed online registration completion form
  • Evidence of eligibility to work in the UK
  • A current virology report
  • A current copy of Immunity to Rubella and health records stating all immunity is up to date
  • A Copy of passport for ID security purposes and NI number

Q. When will I get paid for Locums In UK?
A. Once your Time sheet is received your payment will be directly credit to your Account after deduction of necessary Tax. This is usually with in 7-10 working days.
Q. How soon can I start Locums?
A. After a short registration procedure, if you are willing to take up a locum post you can. We would understand that you have your working rights and tax number in order, prior to starting work.
Q. I am working as Registrar, could I work as a Locum consultant?
A. If you have acted as Locum consultant in past it should not be a problem but if it is your first time then your reference have to be cross checked with the past consultants and by consultant for whom you are taking post.
Q. How can do I submit my Timesheet?
A. You can send your Timesheet by Fax, Email, and you can also login to your account to upload your Timesheet online on Go Locum website
Q. How i can change my details on line?
A. You have to Log In your E-mail address Registered with us and using your password. You will be logged in your account from where you can change your details.
Q. Do I have to send my CV as Word document only?
 A. We accept CVs in any format whether as email, via fax or post. We prefer word documents as now with our new modified, updated, doctor friendly, web site you can see your Word CV on line and can upload your updated word cv any time without contacting us.
Q. How can I find out about all my account and payment details of my Locums done?
 A. All your account and payment details are present on line under your Log In . Due to our heavy investments in our new doctor friendly website, our account section is directly linked with account of each doctor. These details are updated constantly and can be printed out at any time.
Q. Do I have to be fully registered with Medical Council for registration with GO Locum?
A. Any doctor who has either temporary or full registration is eligible for registration.
Q. How soon can I start Locums?  
A. After a short registration procedure, if you are willing to take up a locum post you can. We would understand that you have your working rights and tax number in order, prior to starting work.
